Home > Help > Subtitle Generator issues

Why did I fail to translate subtitles?

Possible reasons:

  • The file format you uploaded is not supported. We recommend browsing through the video requirements before uploading a video.
  • The source language was not detected due to unclear sound in the video, speaking too fast, speaker's accent, background music too loud, noise in the video, etc. Or the source language of the video is not supported. You can learn BlipCut supported languages here.
  • The site where the link is located is not supported by us at the moment, you can check BlipCut supported websites here.
  • There are multiple languages detected from your video.
  • Your network connection is not stable.
  • It is possible that a video resolution that is too high may fail to create a task or slow down processing.

Why it's stuck at 90% while I'm creating subtitles?

Possible reasons:

  • The uploaded file is too large and will take longer to process.
  • The uploaded file resolution is too large, which may result in slow or failed task creation. We recommend uploading videos with a resolution of no more than 4K.
  • There is no audio track from your video.
  • Network connection may cause slow or failed uploads.
